"A" grades in 3-4 A level examination subjects meet the minimum entry requirements to top universities such as Harvard, MIT, Yale, Stanford, Cambridge, Oxford, etc.
"A" and "B" grades in 3-4 A-Level examination subjects meet the minimum entry requirements to good universities such as NUS, NTU, UNSW, University of Berkeley, University of Sydney, UC Berkeley, etc. Most Australian universities require only 2 "A" Level passes.

International General Certificate of Secondary Educationor IGCSE is an international examination offered, set and marked by examiners from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
