The year of the rabbit is here! X?n ni'n ku'i le! It's Chinese new year once again, and our BBS Preschoolers are so happy to celebrate it differently this time. This year, our students showcased a vibrant program that featured the Chinese zodiac animals. From poems, role plays, singing and dancing, each class had a blast on stage with their parents as the audience.
To complete the Chinese new year celebration, our students made their own art and craft to commemorate this festive event. They also had the opportunity to see a lion dance. With the sound of the gongs, cymbals and drums, we had so much fun watching the lion move its head and legs, and jump around and across the stage and the elevated steps. Truly this Chinese new year is a good memory for all of our preschoolers! Happy Chinese New year, everyone!
Our K2 students as the emcees for the celebration! A K2 student sings a Chinese song while her classmates danced behind her. Our K2 teachers, parents, and students joined us for this festive celebration! Our PIK Preschool team of teachers! Our K1 students wore pig headbands to represent one of the Chinese zodiacs.
