MyOn Reading Programme – An update

MyOn Reading Programme – An update

All Primary 1-3 classes started the MyOn Reading programme by the end of term 1. This once a week session is stationed at the Explorer Lab. All the four classes have been going diligently as students always look forward for their interactive reading.

I personally would like to share a gleeful moment during a lesson in school.  My student, Revata, always attempts to complete the comprehension task that proceeds after every reading. Sometimes, he gets a bit discouraged for not obtaining a full score at the end of the activity. One specific week, as I was facilitating my class, I heard a joyful scream from Revata. “Ms Sherry, look! I got all correct. It shows 5 out of 5. I am going try to read another story and answer some questions again.” Simple achievement such as this one really motivates the students to keep trying to achieve better.

Overall, the reading programme is going well for our level. We have attached some pictures for documentation purposes and also to highlight how much the Primary 1 children look forward for their online reading programme.
