- Abstract: In this project, we explore vertical farming, a special way of growing crops indoors. Instead of spreading out, plants are grown in stacked shelves to save space. This is perfect for someone who live in apartments! Whenever it rains, my plants fall down and my house gets dirty with soil. But with vertical farming, I can avoid this hassle. We also build this because we did not want to waste water every time we water our plants. We are trying to help the environment because people are cutting and burning trees to more buildings. With vertical farming, everything is carefully controlled like the temperature, light, and water to help plants grow well. This type of farming is important because it helps us grow more food in less space.
