  • Abstract: "Human error is the single biggest barrier to effective recycling. In Jakarta alone, 70% of dry recyclables are rejected for reuse due to inconsistent sorting and human mistakes. Our robotic trash bin eliminates these issues—including decision paralysis when sorting waste. By fully automating the sorting process, we have developed a 100% accurate system that operates based on strict protocols, ensuring the waste it processes is fully usable by recycling facilities. If just 10% of Jakarta’s households adopted this trash bin, we could save 87,000 tons of recyclables each year. Imagine the impact if that adoption rate extended to 10% of households across Indonesia—or even the entire world! Using this trash bin allows us to address the threat of methane emissions at the source. Our planet doesn’t require perfection from us, but it does need us to be SMART!"
