  • Abstract: "In our country Indonesia, has a lot of chemical practices in our food chain. 90% of our farmers plant in the open field and use lots of pesticide, fungicide and insecticide. We can compare it to other suitable methods by developed countries who use all organic matters. Stunned growth, death of plant tissue or yellowing of the leaves can be caused due to lack of nutrients to help the plants stay healthy. And to do that, we will give the plant compost. Our main goal is to use recycled materials to make compost as it would be a much healthier way for the plant. To do this we collected some organic waste such as coffee grounds and banana peels to turn into compost as it will make the plant healthier. In conclusion, compost can help plants to germinate and grow faster. It is also a better way for the environment as we use recycled materials. The composting process has also been showed to be a highly efficient technology for turning recycled materials to compost"
