My topic for this project is DIY Natural Dye Markers. Many of the colourful dyes we use come from plants. Through this project, I learnt how to extract a dye from plants. I chose this topic because I think it is fun to make and easy to find the materials. Actually, we can find all the materials in our garden or around our neighbourhood. We can also find the tools from our kitchen. Natural dye markers are useful for us since they are cheap and easy to make. Everyone can make their own markers, instead of buying them. It is also not harmful to our environment compared to chemical-based markers. It does not have a chemical smell and instead, it gives out a fragrant, fruity or flowery smell. It just needs to be kept in the refrigerator for a longer shelf-life but it is a project worth improving.
