  • Abstract: Pesticides are commonly used in homes, gardens, and farms to repel or eliminate pests and insects. These pests need to be controlled because they can spread diseases and damage property. Some, like cockroaches, are also extremely unhygienic. However, household pesticides are often made from harmful chemicals that can affect our health, especially for children. When insecticide sprays are used, the fumes and chemicals linger in the air and can be inhaled. Our project focuses on creating a natural pesticide made from mostly naturally occurring ingredients. Examples include chili, garlic, and ginger, which are effective in repelling insects without the harmful side effects of chemical-based products.
