  • Abstract: An Ecobrick chair is an easy craft to make and is very helpful to the world! It is made of a waste plastic bottle that is packed with a lot of clean and dry waste plastic bags. We made it manually by gathering waste plastics from households. Ecobrick could be used to create reusable building blocks. In this project, we decided to make the ecobrick as a chair in public spaces, such as school corridors and libraries. Through the Global Perspective lesson, we are more aware that we have been consuming too much plastic and we also found out that plastic could be harmful to the environment because it releases toxins into the environment like rivers, lakes and oceans. We performed some trials finishing our prototype to measure the durability of the chair. We are happy to bring a good impact on our planet!
