Eggshells can be used for lots of things such as fertilizer, face mask, treatment for skin irritation and cleanser. It is made out of a variety of substances but is 94% calcium carbonate which made it a possible substitute material in making chalk and to study the effectiveness of eggshell-based chalk is an effective substitute to commercial chalk, it is tested on a blackboard and pavement. The results showed that eggshell chalk did not work at all on a blackboard and damaged it as scratches are seen on its surface. On the other hand, the eggshell chalk works on the pavement as seen on the bright mark that it left which also lasted for a long time.
