- Abstract: The emergency bear is a product/prototype created to help prevent kidnappings, abductions, assaults, and abuse. It is a plush that can work as a toy for entertainment, or something that can be used in case of emergencies. The bear is made out of a towel that was folded and tied into the shape of a bear, which then had goggly eyes attached to the face and an SOS button attached to the stomach. It was made to help SDG 16, which is peace, justice, and strong institutions. Many babysitters abuse children or abduct children, and many children like to wander off by themselves, with no adult supervision. These are some of the few factors that lead to children getting kidnapped. We aim to help prevent that with our project, which can be used to call emergency services or parents.
