  • Abstract: Focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our project emphasizes Goal 15: Life on Land, and Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. In this fun hands-on experience, we will engage kids in planting and nurturing various seeds in innovative, recycled biodegradable paper pots, showcasing how we can use everyday materials to help the environment. Each participant will cultivate their own small potted plant, creating a personal connection as they learn about the essential role plants play in our ecosystem. Once the plants mature, we will organize a community plant giveaway event, encouraging families to adopt and care for a plant. This fosters a sense of responsibility and community spirit while spreading awareness about the benefits of green spaces, such as improving air quality and providing habitats for wildlife. Through interactive workshops, we will discuss sustainable gardening techniques and the importance of biodiversity, instilling a lifelong love for nature in our young gardeners.
