- Abstract: In this project, we are developing a rainwater harvesting tank designed to collect rainwater for watering the plants, effectively reducing reliance on the main water sources. By harnessing rainwater, we aim to reduce water consumption and promote sustainable practices. Data suggests that approximately 1095 liters of water are typically used annually for watering plants alone. Moreover, significant amounts of water are often wasted on unnecessary activities such as prolonged showers, leaving taps running while brushing teeth, and overwatering plants. Rather than wasting precious freshwater resources, our solution is to utilise rainwater using a harvesting system. By reusing rainwater, we can contribute to water conservation efforts while meeting our basic needs sustainably.
