  • Abstract: Plastic pollution has emerged as a global environmental crisis, with plastic bags making a big contribution to marine and terrestrial ecosystem degradation. The prevalence of single-use plastic bags poses a significant threat to wildlife, ecosystems, and human health. The wasted plastic thrown into the sea kills the animals under the water. If left on or under the ground, it won't decompose that fast so some people burn it. Our project name is called ""Upcycled Art Bag"". It is all about collecting wasted plastic that people throw away, then we cycle it up into an art bag that is waterproof and can hold some weight. This project focuses on the impact of plastic bags on the environment and outlines the urgent need for sustainable solutions. By analyzing the benefits of recycling plastic bags, including waste reduction, resource conservation, and pollution prevention, we strive to underscore the crucial role that recycling plays in addressing the challenges posed by plastic pollution.
