  • Abstract: Our project, the Eco friendly coolbox is mainly focusing on making something useful out of recycled materials. It can keep things cold longer because there is aluminum foil on the outside covering it and coconut fiber in the side which acts as an insulator. It is useful in some real situations, such as if there is a drink vendor, but his refrigerator is already at the venue, he needs something to transport the drinks. Another situation is if there is a fisherman trying to transport his catchings to the market. This design works by using the foil to reflect heat away from the box, while the dense coconut husks trap cool air inside. By repurposing these natural and recycled items, we provide a sustainable, low-cost alternative to plastic coolers.
