The prefect investiture is a follow up of the selection camp. Candidates who are successful are given the title as a prefect, in which they are officially announced as one in this event.

For the academic year 2021-2022, the investiture fell on the 16th of August 2021. It started with the national anthem, school song and a prayer that was led by Mr Donnie.

Following this, Mr Richard gave a few words of thanks to the old prefects and how he hopes the next batch will be just as great or even better.

It was then time for Jensen, the head prefect of the last academic year, to give us a speech. Jensen gave his thanks to the executive committee of his batch and the teachers that guided him as well.

His speech was followed by a video presentation created by the archive department, about the past achievements that prefects have worked so hard to achieve.

Next, it was time for the new head prefect,Teresa, to give us a speech about her visions for this academic year. She talked about how grateful she was to the past prefects and all the teachers that had helped her achieve this position.

Then, Teresa and Stella introduced the new executive committee that they will be leading this year.

Next, the prefects’ prerecorded oath taking video, that was led by the new assistant head prefect, Stella, was shown. Being a prefect demands time and commitment, passion and dedication along with all the other values like integrity and responsibility. Therefore, this event is very important as it appreciates all the efforts prefects have put in for the school.
