Make X City Guard Robotics Competition 2019

Every year, our Primary 5 and 6 students are joining Robotics Competition held by MakeX. Today, 19th September 2019, Our students and Ms Melva (IT Teacher) are heading to Bandung to participate and compete with the other contestants in this prestigious competition.

MakeX Robotics Competition, themed City Lights, challenges young people to solve real-world problems we may face every day including environmental pollution, food safety, recycling, viral infection and more by applying STEAM concepts.

MakeX Robotics Competition is divided into 4 programs based on different difficulty levels and targeting at various age groups. Teams design, build and program robots to complete different themed missions along their journey and develop innovative-thinking, team-building and problem-solving skills in the learning process.

MakeX Starter is a multitasking competition for young people between 6 to 16 years old, its theme of 2019 Season is “City Guardian“, encouraging contestants to find solutions for various challenging environmental problems. It is divided into two parts: automatic stage and manual stage. Contestants can improve logical thinking by graphical programming; learn more collaborative strategy by working with their alliance; develop problem solving skills through the implementation of electronic parts, mechanical structure and software programming.

With determination and perseverance poured out, they are ready to achieve glory! Break a leg girls and boys! 🙂

And yes! Congrats to the Robotics Team and Ms Melva for winning the Runner Up and Second Runner up, Awesome!
