Bina Bangsa School Primary P3 to P6 students joined the mental math competition. The goal of the program are to motivate students to use wide variety of mental methods, provide opportunities where the strategies they have learnt can be employed, encourage students to use mental methods regularly and to boost their confidence. The event was held during Math Week in Term 2 Week 5. Students had a preliminary session in the class and the best from each house was chosen as a representative for the final round. In the final round, students were grouped according to their houses and worked together to solve different types of math problems. Look at how engaged they were!
