VIRTUAL CHILDREN’S DAY

VIRTUAL CHILDREN’S DAY

“Children at home: Helping Shape The World Through Heads, Hearts, and Hands”

We noticed that there are many changes in 2020. Covid-19 has been a nightmare for everyone of us in this world, but remember God is The Greatest. He is with us and loves us, God always open His door for us to always come back to Him in joys and hardships. As a child at home, we can think of things can do to help our community. Children’s day this year is special, we celebrate it virtually. However, we can do lots of things to help the community, especially our school community.

Students are encouraged and reminded to be grateful that they still have their families around them, so that they can give an emotional support to each other at home. Never leave one of the members of the family behind. During Children’s Day, students got to know real life children who are finding ways to uplift the spirit of their communities, as known as The Little Wonders. They were: (1) The boy who sewed face masks, (2) The kid sold “do not give up” stickers, (3) The kid raised money to buy snacks for workers, (4) The seven-year-old boy who donated 6k masks, (5) The kids who created newspaper, (6) The girl who started a Youtube channel, (7) The kid who wrote encouraging letter, (8) The girl who started dance-a-thon charity, and (9) The students who made a super shiled face mask, and the 10th little wonder is US! What can we do to help our community? 🙂

The next activity of the event is a Puppet Show. Students were encouraged to find positive activities even they were bored in this pandemic situation,  also to made a continuous contact with their families and supported each other in many ways, and to always stay safe from the virus by wearing masks, washing hands, and exercising everyday.

HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY 2020!
