Bina Bangsa Kebon Jeruk Secondary World Day: Celebrating Cultures Around the World

World Day was celebrated on 29 October 2025 as a vibrant school-wide event that highlighted cultural diversity and global awareness. The event encouraged students to learn about and appreciate cultures from around the world in an engaging and interactive way.

World Day, a vibrant school-wide event highlighting cultural diversity and global awareness was held on 29 October. The event encouraged students to learn about and appreciate cultures from around the world in an engaging and interactive way. 

As part of the celebration, there was an interclass competition where every class prepared either a presentation or performance based on their assigned country. These presentations detailed the country’s history and cultural heritage through traditional customs, songs and dances. In addition, each class had to decorate their class board, as an artistic representation of their assigned country. The boards were evaluated based on the level of creativity shown in their design and presentation.

Another highlight of World Day was the class booth, as each class set up a booth featuring traditional food from their assigned country. Students worked together to decorate their booths to make them visually appealing and culturally accurate, creating a lively and immersive atmosphere throughout the event area.

The presentation and performance segments were judged by Ms Kim, Ms Risha, and Mr Richard, who assessed the classes based on content, creativity, and overall execution. The event was fully organized by the Values in Action Student Council Department, whose efforts ensured the smooth planning and successful execution of the day.

Overall, World Day was a meaningful and enjoyable event that promoted teamwork, creativity, and cultural understanding, leaving a lasting impression on both the participants and the audience.
