BBS KJS organised its Maths, Science and Computing Week, set up by the teachers from 22 to 26 February 2021.
The week started off with students participating in grade-based Kahoot games, featuring questions related to STEM as well as general knowledge.
The winners of the preliminary round competed with each other in their respective final rounds on February 23.
At the end of the week, there was a virtual exhibition hosted over Zoom which showcased the outcomes of STEM projects done by students, such as clips of Science experiments, coding demonstrations and even mathematical infographics depicting shapes and statistics.
When asked how fun it was to work with the students, the Science HOD, Ms Herlina, said, “Yes, it’s really fun to work with the students and it’s good to observe their progress throughout the process.”
She also stated that, “Sometimes students can be very creative in doing their projects beyond our expectation. They can incorporate various technologies to present their project and I’m glad to see that,” when asked about what she thought of the students’ outputs.
