BBS-PIKP VIRTUAL GRADUATION CEREMONY 2019-2020

BBS-PIKP Virtual Graduation Ceremony

The Virtual Graduation Ceremony proved to be yet another milestone in the journey of BBS-PIKP as ninety-six students triumphantly completed their primary education. It was also historic as it was the first time that the graduation ceremony was relayed virtually due to the current pandemic situation (COVID-19) prevalent all over the world.

It was Saturday, 4 July 2020, when an online graduation was successfully executed by the BBS-PIK Primary school. Forty-five boys and fifty-one girls attended the virtual ceremony together with their very proud parents. The programme, with this year’s theme “Keep the flame burning, prepare for a new beginning”, ran smoothly for two hours.

Our very own alumnus, Calista Adele Yapeter agreed to grace the occasion by giving us her precious time to deliver a message to the graduands as the guest speaker. She spoke about the challenges that she had faced during her academic journey and how she took them as opportunities to perform better and achieve success. Her presence was well-appreciated by our Principal, Ms Linawati Lauw.

Kate Melody was announced as the valedictorian of the batch of AY 2019-2020 which was the fruit of her hardwork and perseverance. This school year was also different as the batch had two salutatorians – Gwen Abigail and Victoria Jab.

What an amazingly proud way for BBS-PIK Primary to end the school year 2019-2020! Though, Term 4 was a challenging term for many, the students and teachers thrived and made everything possible to help one another in the pursuit of education.

Thank you to everyone who made the event successful.

Once again, Congratulations! Let your light shine.
